The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
BIMM Institute is committed to promoting equal opportunities for all applicants, and all students, and we actively seek to recruit a diverse student body that is reflective of the wider community. We aim to make sure that every student, whatever their background, has a fulfilling educational experience that enriches their lives and careers. At BIMM we are dedicated to making higher education more equal and fair. It’s something we passionately believe in. However, we understand, that as a student from a care background, you may need additional support when studying. We have specific financial bursaries for Care Experienced students and pre-enrolment support from the Access and Participation team to help you get set up for the start of your course. Our dedicated Student Support Officers are available to support you both educationally and pastorally. We have counselling and wellbeing support available too, plus a Careers Team to get you ready for the industry. We are here to help you make the most of your time with us and beyond.
