The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.

The Widening Participation team at Edinburgh Napier University is committed to easing the transition into university from under-represented groups, including care-experienced students.

We can arrange campus visits, or a meeting with academic or support service staff, prior to starting a degree programme. We understand that all students starting at university have questions, often concerning accommodation, academic writing, personal development, social support, personal finances and student funding. Edinburgh Napier University provides optional additional support to all of our students such as counselling, student mentoring, personal development workshops, one-to-one academic support and academic skills workshops, in addition to the guidance provided by the named contact. Our care-experienced students can also arrange a financial health check with one our funding advisers to assess scholarship and bursary eligibility.

For more information, please e-mail: wideningaccess@napier.ac.uk in the first instance, or visit our university myNapier webpage: www.my.napier.ac.uk/Pages/Home.aspx, to view the wide array of support and guidance you can access at Edinburgh Napier University.
