The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.

Thank you for visiting the Goldsmiths, University of London page, and for considering us a place to study. At Goldsmiths, we provide a package of support to support your access to university and experience as a student.

I can provide 1:1 support and individual advice on all aspects of applying to and studying at university, and can arrange bespoke campus visits. If you would like any information about this, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

In addition, the student recruitment and widening participation team at Goldsmiths offers pre-entry support through a wide range of activities and information, advice and guidance: from Saturday art and design clubs to subject-specific summer schools, taster sessions and appointments with our pre-entry careers consultant. More information can be found at: www.gold.ac.uk/schools-and-colleges.

During your transition to university, you will be invited to take part in Goldstart, which offers you a chance to get to know your department before you start your course. The day-long events will include a sample lecture or seminar from your academic department, a chance to meet academic staff, a session on study skills (including tips from current students), and introductions to the library and Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). You will also have a chance to meet your elected representatives in the students' union.

As a student, you are encouraged and supported to apply for our paid student ambassador programme, and would be guaranteed a place on our selection day.

If you find that you need extra support as a student, either with your studies or mental health, you can get in touch with me, or contact our student support team by either attending our drop-in or emailing studentcentre@gold.ac.uk.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.
