At the MET, we want all of our students to get the best out of their higher education experience. We recognise that some students face particular challenges, and may have faced disruption in their school education. If you are thinking of moving into higher education, we can help you make your decisions. We also have mental health, counselling, well-being and financial support that you will be able to access. We have a contextual admissions policy, so please contact us if you have any queries about our entry requirements.

If you need advice and guidance around your university options, or you'd like to chat to us about what it's like studying at the MET, please do get in touch with Rosie - rosie.jones@gbmc.ac.uk. She is happy talk through any questions and arrange bespoke visit days for you to have a look around the campus.

We’re here to help you get the best out of your education. At Greater Brighton Metropolitan College we want you to achieve your potential. That’s why there is a funding support package available that is specifically for you. If you are a care leaver, additional support is available. To be eligible, you must be under the age of 25 and have been in local authority care for three months or more since the age of 14. If you're not eligible for the Care Leaver Bursary, you can apply for the Low Household Income Bursary if your income is under £25,000 and are in receipt of a full maintenance loan, we will contact you if you're eligible.
