It is the university’s aim that potential and current students are treated fairly on the basis of merit, regardless of circumstances.
We have dedicated learner support and student services teams, who work with potential and current students on an individual basis to ensure that their needs are met.
This can include guaranteed longer term accommodation arrangements, financial guidance, counselling or mental health support, and an individual academic guidance tutor as necessary.

Harper Adams University recognises that the transition to higher education can be daunting and expensive, and that's why we offer you support from the very beginning of your journey.
We are able to offer discretionary financial support to care leavers to assist with interview costs (e.g. travel to the university), and once you enrol as a student you can apply for additional support through the university's access to learning fund.
Care leavers also have access to our wide range of non-financial support through our student services and learner support teams, which can be accessed at both pre-application and post-application stages.
We will also offer one-to-one support during interview stages.
