The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
Do you need help to reach your potential? Hartpury's wellbeing team is made up of friendly qualified staff including nurses, counsellors, chaplains, a mental health nurse and a wellbeing officer.
We can provide you with 1:1 support in quiet private areas. We can give you advice and guidance on feeling and staying well, both emotionally and physically. We have a designated team to support you should you have specific learning needs, to ensure you achieve your full potential.
The team is available for informal chats, screening, full assessments and guidance with funding. We can also support your exam access needs and provide individual help to suit your needs.
At Hartpury, the students' union is committed to our mission statement: “Empowering students to excel by providing representation, opportunities and guidance”. Run by students for students, we work closely with you to gather feedback on your university experience and help you bring about change.
We also provide a number of clubs and societies for you to enjoy your time out of the lecture halls too. The Innovation, Careers and Enterprise Centre (ICE) supports all aspects of career planning, development including work placements, finding part-time work, graduate employability and post graduate study.
There is a dedicated team of careers and placement specialists to support you with all your career development needs. Alongside ICE we also have the Academic Achievement and Success Centre (ASC), which can provide you with both general and specific support and guidance on how to be successful and reach your potential whilst studying your degree.
