The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
If you're interested in studying at Imperial, our course pages will give you lots of information about each course, and contact details in case you have any questions about the course or department: www.imperial.ac.uk/study/ug/courses/.
Imperial has a competitive admissions process to help us identify students who have the potential to thrive on our courses. Additional consideration will be given to your application if you meet our entry requirements and let us know that you come from a care background by ticking the box on your UCAS application.
We provide a range of support for students who have spent at least three months in local authority care, which may include foster care or living in a residential care home. Find out more on our website: www.imperial.ac.uk/study/ug/why-imperial/supportive-environment/care-leavers.

The Imperial bursary scheme for home undergraduate students provides support on a sliding scale. You are entitled to support as long as your or your household's income is less than £60,000. You will receive funding for each year of your course, and you do not need to pay it back.
If you can demonstrate that you are among the students with the highest academic excellence and potential, you may also be awarded a president's undergraduate scholarship.
We also have a student support fund, which is for emergency loans and grants. You will need to show us evidence of your need for financial assistance, but we can help you with advice for this.
