The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
Each campus has a named member of staff, who will be the main point of contact for you and your other corporate parents.
They will be on your side, and will be there to listen to you and help you. You will meet them at an early stage of your application. Someone can come to your planning meetings, if that helps you to decide the correct course to apply to.
They will be available throughout your time at SRUC to provide constant support, to meet with you, to monitor your progress and attendance, and to act as a link to other members of staff, or to external agencies, if you wish. They will ensure that you have applied for all financial assistance that you are entitled to.

Tuition is usually free for Scottish students. Further education students should apply for a bursary/EMA. The bursary also helps you to pay for specific protective clothing and transport. Higher education students should apply online to SAAS.
Discretionary funds can be applied for in times of hardship, and childcare funds may also be available.
If progressing from further education to higher education, you can apply for a centenary bursary.
We encourage students to speak to their campus student funding staff, as they are always happy to help and may know if there are any local funding options available.
