The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.

Please contact our named person, the wellbeing and support services adviser, if you would like to chat before applying to the college.

We have pastoral teams who will work with you to offer learning and emotional support, to help you settle into college life and succeed at your studies.

Support we offer

  • A named contact
  • Outreach sessions or activities
  • Pre-application help
  • Guidance for offer holders
  • A web page for care leavers
  • Careers advice and support after graduation

Accommodation we offer

  • A place to live all year round
  • If not, help finding somewhere to live for the whole year

Funding support we offer

  • Specific funding that's just for care leavers
  • Additional funding available (such as bursaries and grants)
  • Support for students seeking asylum
  • Support for those with discretionary leave to remain
  • Financial advice

Our pastoral teams are able to work with you to support your application to college, and when enrolled, will help you apply for funding available to all learners.

If you are applying for a further education course, funding may include Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), Welsh Government Learning Grant (WGLG), Financial Contingency Funds and college bursaries.

If you are applying to study at higher education level, e.g. Foundation Degree, then we could help you apply for funding via Student Finance Wales.

Our care leavers' bursary is available for further education and higher education, and offers more specific financial support, including help with the expenditure incurred during enrolment and course start-up. The bursary will help provide additional financial support whilst you study with us.

You will also be offered a named member of the team who will be available to work with you, arrange a regular 'meet-up' to help you through your time with us, and support your wellbeing.

Sorry, we don't have information about available courses. Visit their website for more details.
