The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
On site we have our student hub staff to offer advice, as well as specialist support including counselling, progress coaches, student mentors/ambassadors, targeted support for those with learning difficulties or disabilities, open access IT suites and specialist study (English and maths) support in our learning resource centres at each of our sites.
We handle anything you share with us with discretion; but the more we know, the better we can meet your needs at the start of, or during your course. We can liaise with external support services already working with you to get the best arrangements in place, and urge you to tell us about yourself as early as possible.
We want to give you every chance of success by offering you the right learning support, confidential health and wellbeing advice, bursaries and financial help, as well as working with you to plan your next steps and future career.
All students can access our student hub any time during college hours and talk to our experienced staff, each ready to help.
We encourage all our further education students to participate in our careers advantage programme at a level appropriate to them, which comprises a range of activities and events year-round to build confidence, extend personal qualities, develop enterprise and financial awareness, and evidence the employability skills that will make you stand out.
Course staff and our student experience team are ready to help you get started. We look forward to hearing from you.
