The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
At Heriot-Watt University we aim to support all of our students throughout their education journey. We understand that students with care experience may require different or additional support throughout the research and application process, during induction and transition, throughout your studies and upon graduation.
Examples of support we can provide you includes:
- Information sessions for carers and young people who are looked after.
- One-to-one support and guidance with applications, either over the phone or face-to-face.
- Ongoing one-to-one support throughout your studies.
